Bryson City has been dubbed one of the “20 Best Small Towns To Visit” by the Smithsonian and one of the “Coolest Mountain Towns” by Romantic Asheville! Disconnect from the hustle of life and reconnect with yourself

Welcome home, friends. You’ll find all the nature you need here. Most of the county is literally the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Bryson City is also know as a hub for whitewater rafting with the Nantahala River flowing through the Gorge and the Nantahala National Forest nearby. We can attest, the sound of the river flowing through the mountains is the most peaceful thing you’ll experience.
Christmas Magic in Bryson City
Although the warmer months are absolutely stunning in this area, Christmas is literally one of Bryson City’s most popular seasons! Picture an entire town lit up at night with garlands wrapped around light poles and a giant 50 foot tree. This is Bryson City during the holidays. Not to mention, the Polar Express takes families with excited kids in their PJs to the North Pole 😉
The train runs the rest of the year and traverses through Fontana Lake. It’s a scenic ride that families love! Tickets are recommended as spots fill up quick!
